“The Drifter's Blog” started off as an adventure solo. But then I got to thinking about how, although it's alright to be alone, you may at times find yourself feeling pretty lonely. I realized that life is always more eventful with friends around, and a single voice can sometimes be boring. That's when I figured out where I wanted to go with this whole blog thing.

So now our mission to date is in two parts. The first part is to create a blog with a single purpose: To share and spread the good, bad, joys, fears, loves, discouragement and enlightenment that we all get while drifting our way across this globe we call home. “The Drifter's Blog” is a blog about travel. 

The second part of our mission is to eventually develop and express the first part in multiple voices, rather than just one. Although I am the primary blogger and moderator of this site, on occasion there will be articles, pictures, thoughts and experiences contributed  by others. On one blog, you will gradually hear different voices, all expressing their love of travel from their own viewpoints.
