                        MANGALORE, INDIA - At around 6 a.m., approximately 19 miles outside the city of Mangalore, an Air India Express Boeing 737-800 aircraft carrying 160 passengers and six crew members, crashes over a cliff and bursts into flames after a runway overshot. According to officials, some 159 people are killed. Anjana Pasricha from VOA news reports more on this tragic event here.

                        CAIRO, EGYPT – According to Egypt's Supreme Council of Antiquities, archeologists have discovered 57 ancient Egyptian tombs. The council was stated as saying that the oldest tomb dates back to around 2750 B.C. during the period of Egypt's first and second dynasties.
